I love the European people. But I don't think they realize just how much their Kings and Lords have screwed them.
Somebody like me, who is considered poor by American standards, still lives more luxuriously than half of Europe.
I rent a full detached home for my family, I own a modern car, I can afford AC, waste gas idling, get long hot showers, eat nearly too many calories, order nearly any commodity on the planet, own a gaming PC and nice TV.
And the sad thing is, most of that's not even irresponsible use of money. Because it's all just so cheap for Americans. Because we produce massive amounts of energy, and energy is wealth. We also have a powerful military, and a powerful military is control, which lets you access more energy, which means more wealth.
Americans did not screw Europe into poverty. Your own leaders did that.
