I have never seen a HS player compete harder - all the time, mind you - than @sm23itty. Raised the game of everyone around him. He had already put himself on the Rushmore of all-time DMV HS basketball players, and this national honor just adds to his singular legacy.

Well, a rapidly deflating tire in Silver Spring spoiled my drive to Wise HS to catch the MD 4A boys’ hoops state semi between @WhitmanBB and Flowers. Chris Lun and the Vikes looking for their *3rd straight* trip to the MD 4A state championship game. Time to fire up NFHS Network.
