@virginmedia Hi! Is there any reason I can't watch Twitch streams/videos over wi-fi? Phone signal works fine, but nothing over wi-fi!

@virginmedia Everything else is fine. The Twitch interface loads fine, it's just the video that doesn't work. I cannot view livestreams nor watch recordings.

@dansplaining1 Are the Twitch streams the only site facing this issue? What happens when you try to view the page? Does it just not load or do you get an error message?

@virginmedia Yes. It happens on both desktop and the mobile phone app. It clearly isn't an issue with my browser or devices. As I said, I can only access it if I change my IP address via a VPN. Apparently, I'm not the only customer who been having issues like this,

@virginmedia No. Same across all connections

@dansplaining1 Does it work over a wired connection?

@virginmedia It's just Twitch that's affected. The message is 'There was a network error. Please try again. (Error #2000)'. It works on mobile internet and with a VPN, so I can only assume it's an ISP issue.

@dansplaining1 Thanks for coming back to advise that. What error message are you getting when trying to stream? Are you able to watch videos through other sites such as YouTube?
