Unpopular opinion, but we have to remember that celebrities deal with unpredictable and intense fan encounters daily. While the fan likely meant for the painting to be a respectful tribute, having a stranger reveal a detailed portrait of your children in a public space can feel invasive. People are calling DaBaby "arrogant" based on a 5secs clip, but they don't see the years of unrecorded "fan" encounters that force a person to be cautious. He may have deliberately avoided a big reaction to keep a professional distance and avoid fueling a parasocial obsession. Most people would find a stranger tracking them down with a photo of their kids extreme; it's a reality check that some fans clearly need.
