Calling his years of contribution a ‘fair trade’ is crazy when he was literally the one carrying the group vocally, performance-wise, and publicly since debut. The reason people are reacting so strongly is because everyone knows how much of ENHYPEN’s identity was tied to him. Acting like the group lost nothing especially after its strongest and biggest contributor left just sounds more defensive than truthful. And let’s be honest, if ‘the number of members didn’t matter at all’ were truly believable, fans and media wouldn’t constantly feel the need to repeat it like a reassurance. He gave six years of consistency, pressure, performances, stability, and some of the group’s most defining moments. Turning everything he did into just ‘he already benefited enough’ is exactly why fans are upset. Respect shouldn’t suddenly disappear the second someone chooses a different path.

When a member chooses to leave, fans shouldn't demand constant respect or acknowledgment from the group. He already benefited from the collective effort of the 6, entering the industry with a pre-built fanbase, a privilege the others worked to provide btw. ​The 6 remaining members are the ones truly at a disadvantage now. Any past contributions were a fair trade for that platform, it’s time to stop holding the group accountable for a solo path he chose.
