you just want someone to notice. someone to see the weight you carry on your back and say let me help you. let me take some of that off. you just want them to look you in your eyes & say “thank you for loving me as deeply as you have, i don’t take it for granted” & show you that.
I love that the Game of Thrones dragons are either named like vikings (Vhagar, Balerion), mythic Greek war heroes (Caraxes, Syrax) or My Little Ponies (Seasmoke, Dreamfyre, Silverwing).

Kids aren’t responsible to know how to navigate their parents tempers, mood swings, and/or bad days. If you grew up thinking otherwise, this could be a key indicator to why you feel overly responsible for other people’s well-being while unknowingly neglecting your own.
