@ouma_neko If you see someone producing a documentary about their 40-year career just to convince the public that they actually worked, that in itself is a clear sign of failure. @skmusyoka perfectly exemplifies this failure in leadership. The man accomplished nothing!
English

Dennis Itumbi's lengthy attack on Kalonzo Musyoka says more about the State House political mood than it does about Kalonzo.
If Kalonzo has "nothing to show" after 40 years, why is the government communication machinery spending so much energy discussing his documentary, his coalition, his running mate, his party, his launch plans, his allies and even his campaign slogans?
The truth is simple: people do not spend pages attacking politicians they consider irrelevant.
The panic is becoming visible.
President Ruto's team knows the opposition is the political machine that is sending him home. They know the ground is has rejected William Ruto and has embraced SKM.
They know the conversation has moved from whether @skmusyoka will run to how strong the alternative coalition will be.
And when even Rigathi Gachagua's camp continues to unsettle the political establishment from outside government, the nervousness becomes impossible to hide.
A documentary is not the story. The story is that those in power appear increasingly preoccupied with a man they claim has no influence.
If Kalonzo truly did not matter, they would ignore him.
Instead, they are watching, tracking, discussing and attacking him.
That tells Kenyans everything they need to know.

Congratulations, my friend @skmusyoka, on taking the bold step of documenting your 40 years in public life.
Shooting a Documentary is quite something.
Filming Four Decades of stuff that you do not have and that does not stand out is quite a hard job, I look forward to watch the painstaking effort starring a man who like Methuselah in the bible, has been there, but with little to show, except being there.
As Minister for Education and many other ministries for example, I am curious to see the highlights.
As Vice President, however, I know one achievement that will certainly make the cut, you helped deliver two very large prisons in Ukambani.
Now, my sources tell me the documentary will premiere in September, conveniently around the same time you unveil your presidential run and running mate. Congratulations!
I hope you have already informed Jofri and Matiang'i that Sifuna is your preferred choice for running mate.
And while you are at it, I trust you have also briefed my friend and former boss, President Uhuru Kenyatta, that the Azimio chapter is firmly behind you, and that your political vehicle of choice is now the Ukombozi Alliance. ( BTW, you do not have to keep repeating Ukombozi, Komboa so many times in interviews and rallies, you can launch without singing it too much, but anyway, strategy ni yako, just saying)
And Stephen, my brother, I am only responding to Jofri. He is the one who keeps telling everyone he is everywhere, knows everything, and hears everything.
I simply want him to know that being "everywhere" is not an exclusive franchise.
There are others in the market too.

See @skmusyoka must tell us which side he prays facing.
Manze other people are campaigning more for him than he is for himself.
Enyewe we have such a long way as Kenyans.

Students must understand that there are consequences when they set other human beings on fire.
When I visited Naivasha maximum prison I met the only suspect sentenced to death for the May 24, 1999 arson attack in Nyeri High School that claimed the lives of four prefects.
The student was 33 years old or thereabout when I met him. He was convicted by a juvenile court and later committed to life imprisonment after he turned 18.
The 2001 Kyanguli fire tragedy claimed the lives of 67 students. Two 16-year-olds were arrested and charged with murder. The judge handling the matter resigned in 2006 amid corruption-related allegations. A new judge declared the court matter a mistrial.
I took my time with the file, and it was clear that someone had done everything to make sure the two boys escaped justice. I tracked one down to an office in the CBD. He is somewhere out here.
The July 13, 1991, St Kizito High School massacre remains the most disturbing and heart-wrenching story I have covered.
The boys stormed the girls' dormitory. Reason? They had refused to join them in a strike.
In the ensuing violence, 71 school girls were raped and 19 of them lost their lives, mostly due to suffocation after being tightly packed into a corner during the attack.
Some were arrested and as usual, parents worked the justice system and many escaped the hangman’s noose.
But in a dark twist of events, most of the accused “turned mad”, and others ended up as drunks.
I remember visiting a lady now in her fifties who was still overwhelmed by the events of that night- oh she cried.
I met most of the boys then now men. Drunkards. Wasted.
Let’s see how the tragic Utumishi Fire tragedy plays out but if the prosecution proves those arrested are involved, it will be the end of school and freedom.
I have been to Nyeri, St Kizito, Kyanguli, Endarasha, and Bombolulu Girls' High School.
It's a life-changing experience!
No amount of justice or compensation can bring back the lives lost.

@Maryian96 Why can't you as Gakuya and Major donk to table the motion. Relying on western and Nyanza leaders to do the donkey work for you after making poor choices will not happen this time round.

Alleged CCTV footage from Utimishi Girls Academy reportedly shows several girls arranging mattresses at the exit before setting them ablaze.
A surviving student who was trapped inside one of the cubicles is said to have witnessed the incident and later identified the suspects, leading to their arrest.
Investigators believe many of the victims could have escaped had the door not been locked from the outside during the fire.
This is beyond heartbreaking. Innocent lives lost in such a horrific and preventable tragedy. May the victims rest in peace, may God grant strength and comfort to the grieving parents, and may justice be served without fear or favour
