And I can also see Tim being extremely understanding and working diligently to help Lucy feel safe, to heal. But then also retreating to the bathroom and getting very upset, bc with his past with his father, being seen as a threat by the woman he loves is a nightmare to him.

This is a very dark/adult creative thought about trauma, so please keep that in mind if you continue reading. But I can absolutely see Lucy being blind-sided by nerves, the next time she is beneath Tim. 🤔 Being a small woman under a large man can physically/mentally be A Lot.

I think this is the most telling that she doesn't want comfort rn. she doesn't melt into his kiss. she doesn't melt into his embrace. she's not there. he's not going to force comfort on her, no matter how much he probably wants to hold her. #therookie
