the @latticexyz team is probably the single most exciting place for an Ethereum engineer to be working right now. we could only have dreamed of the MUD stack in the @darkforest_eth days (fittingly, most of the original DF team works on or with lattice these days...)

2/ Building AWs used to be a massive undertaking; @darkforest_eth took 1+ yr to make and was hard to modify. @latticexyz’s MUD framework was created to solve this and, with OPCraft, showed it’s possible to build an AW from scratch in the span of a month or even a hackathon

@BrainInv hi artyom, a correction here - there was no / is no partnership between altlayer and dark forest. dark forest's codebase is open-source and deployable by anyone with no input from the core team; it looks like altlayer ran its own DF community round on their own!
