I used to manage a carpet cleaning company and these videos have multiple problems from a technical standpoint. First, the rug is on a solid floor so the dirt isn’t effectively or efficiently being removed; every rug we did was on a raised screen so that the dirt was pushed out and it wasn’t just moved around so that multiple passes are required. Second, depending on the age of the rug, using a buffer will destroy the carpet by tearing it apart; the older the rug, the more you have to do everything by hand and you might not be able to pressure wash it. And lastly, only synthetic fibers get washed with a ton of chemicals because natural fibers don’t like chemicals that leech their dyes, which are also natural and not chemicals. The outcome is fantastic, it’s just being done the hardest way possible.
