@SeedworldMeta was our first deal at @ApeVenturesVC And although I don't tweet a lot, that's definitely a good opportunity to talk a bit about Ape Ventures while congratulating the bro @meta_alchemist for the successful launch We launched @ApeVenturesVC with @Xeer and @theapelist_ as a community-first initiative. The goal is to bring exceptional deals to Apes while taking no cuts at all : 0% fees, forever. No upfront cut, no management fees, no carry. The reason this is win-win, despite the fact that it's not a profit making endeavor for now is because, while there are ways to make money faster (e.g. having a syndicate and taking a cut), we believe going above and beyond what is to be expected is a great way to set precedent and create a foundation for even bigger things. The reasoning here goes a bit deeper but I'll try to make that one quite short. After discussing @SeedworldMeta with @meta_alchemist , we knew this was likely the "exceptional deal" we wanted to start things off the right way, as it ticked all our boxes. Happy to see Apes 3x+ their investment already (at peak) with the successful launch of $SWORLD , while all @ApeVenturesVC members securing a free airdrop in addition to their investment, and excited to see Apes building inside Seedworld very soon! - It's a quite satisfying first week for @ApeVenturesVC , with some of the most legit Ape builders and investors in already (and an early follow from Gordon while still at sub 200 followers - cheers Gordon for the early support!) Grateful to my co-founder @Xeer who's eyes lit up when I told him, as we were eating our miso soup, that we'll be charging 0% fees (he didn't even ask me the million dollar question "so how do you make money, then?!" that I heard way too often) And to the bros at @TheApelist_ who have always been extremely supportive with the "anything you need bro" attitude since I shared the AV idea with them early on, almost a year ago Attached are live cooking moments from Singapore
