@lwveon2660 i dont write. theres no reason to lie about this. if i did write, i would like a bit more share from the profit.
i also dont know that youre american.
look up social cognition cause it seems you lack this and need help.
English

@daromeon you write kengan. sandro as well. it would make sense that any biases towards character rivalries would be written by you. im surprised you think american fans are that dumb
English

@lwveon2660 im also kind of suspicious that youre serious about this.
i dont know where you came up with all this presupposition.
whv would you assume i have any say
English

@DepresUdon17471 so, the publishers did release a public statement like whats described in this article.
asia.nikkei.com/business/techn…
but my assessment is that most editors dont have a strong opinion on the usage of ai. they mostly just dont want trouble.
English

@daromeon excuse me, sir
once again, i'm sorry if i'm crossing a line by asking this question, but, what is japanese editorial general opinion about generative AI usage in manga production ? like creating background, i'm really curious
i'm really sorry if i'm annoying or bothering you
English

@lwveon2660 the special would of came out exactly as is pixel by pixel, even if i was dead before the project started. maybe an exra meaningless text that says "in memory of--" like i would care.

im trying to make it into simple words, but not going so well. it might be easy if i can point out from actual comic pages, but it would look like im criticizing.
when ever i read western comics,
i often have to flip back a page
since some visual information slipped.
this happens when i read it with a manga pace.
if i spend more time on each page, it wouldnt be a problem, but then i have to be really devoted to the title.
this doesnt happen as much when reading manga,
cause manga is designed to have important information obvious and standout.
English

@daromeon @JaxBladeFitness Could you explain your thoughts a bit more?
English

the biggest difference for me isn't
genres or rights issues.
its the amount of time
the author (publisher) expects
the reader to stay on each page.

DC Comics President Jim Lee says that Japanese manga and anime is "incredibly powerful": "I often find myself wondering, 'What is missing in Western comics, and why aren't they able to achieve the same flavor?' I think manga has an advantage over American comics, which are mostly about superheroes, and that's where the majority of sales and readers are concentrated. In Japan, it's closer to 'literature,' and anyone can read it, and it's not just hero stories. There's a much wider range of genres, like stories about cooking and soccer. You can draw stories from that. So I'm very happy that the manga has been so successful, because it gives me a goal to aim for." (via: @NIKKEIxTREND)
