@SharufaRWalker I had a concept I was noodling on that leveraged web3 to incentivize individual investment in a distributed power grid. Basically, defi powered metering that pays the owner/maintainer of an asset (solar panel, transmission line). Made some attempts in Ghana, but couldn't finish.

It most definitely is. I was thinking more in terms of: paying gas fees in a native token is a bad UX. Dapps could subsidize the fees and take it back in whatever token users are transferring/spending. My mom would never understand the concept of gas fees. I want my mom to use Ethereum.

Users doesn’t pay for the hosting of a website, the owner does. So why DeFi users needs to pay for gas?
