Harsh truth: if you’re trying to retire early and you’re not slightly obsessed and even a little delusional about it… you’re not going to make it.

In Florida, someone making $100,000 will take home $79,180. In Oregon, the same worker will only take home $71,725. Choose where you live wisely.

One of my coworkers retired early a few years ago. I asked him if he had any advice for the younger people at the company. His answer stuck with me. “Don’t get fancy. Invest consistently in low-cost mutual funds and ETFs, and let compounding do its thing.” A good reminder that building wealth and retiring early doesn’t have to be complicated.

My wife’s employer just switched 401k providers. She had 3 options for her old account: • Roll it into an IRA • Roll into the new 401k • Leave it where it is Most people pick the IRA. More investment options, easier to manage. But we rolled it into the new 401k. That way we can use the backdoor Roth strategy. If she were to park pre-tax money in an IRA, the pro-rata rule kicks in. And every backdoor Roth conversion would get partially taxed. The new 401k keeps that pre-tax money out of the IRA entirely. Clean conversion. No tax surprise.

Stop prompting AI like it’s a Google search. I just finished Google’s 5-part AI Essentials series that taught me what to do instead. Here are 5 tips that actually changed how I use AI: (Plus an example prompt at the end)

Pro tip: when a prompt works well, save it. Use it as a template next time. That’s how you stop starting from scratch every time.

I just hit $100k in my 401(k) and it only took 6 years. If I don’t contribute another dollar, I’ll retire a millionaire. Compounding is truly amazing.

$STRC is not a savings account. It’s not Bitcoin. And it’s not risk-free. But for investors who understand what they’re holding, it’s one of the more creative financial products built in recent years.

Your savings account is paying you 4%. Strategy pays 11.5% dividends. Monthly. In cash. And most people have no idea what it is. Here’s how $STRC actually works:

When the dividend pays out, value leaves and the price dips. They raise the rate. Buyers come in. Price recovers. And when the price runs too high? They lower the rate. Sellers bring it back down. The dividend rate is the lever. $100 is the target.

But where does the cash actually come from? Strategy is constantly raising capital through preferred stock, convertible notes, and common stock offerings. That cash buys more Bitcoin and funds the dividend. The yield depends on their ability to keep raising money. If they don’t, the dividend is at risk.

Caught up with my old boss He said “figure out how to retire early.” Said it’s the best decision he ever made. He could’ve retired earlier, and wishes he had. Don’t wait. Start thinking about it now and have a plan.

Check this out: Federal law lets you check your credit report for free. I do it once a year. Takes about 20 minutes. Just glance over reports from all three bureaus for any accounts or activity you don’t recognize. It’s a quick and easy way to keep tabs on your financial health.

If you split an Airbnb 5 ways and one person bails last minute (sick, personal reasons, etc.), should they get a refund, or is it a sunk cost?

“The wealthy avoid taxes because the system is rigged.” Wrong. The Buy, Borrow, Die strategy lets you borrow against your assets without selling them. No tax bill. Here’s how:
