What we thinking for tomorrow’s Old Firm? I think there’s value in Rangers. Since Nancy took over, they’ve played seven, lost five and won two. They’ve conceded 15 and scored 10. The most recent result was a 2-0 defeat away to Motherwell, where they were dominated. Motherwell had 1.4 xG to Celtic’s 0.59, 11 shots to Celtic’s 8, and 6 shots on target to Celtic’s 3. It’s going to be a cauldron at Celtic Park. If it’s not going their way, the fans will turn quickly, and we’ve already seen how mentally weak this squad is. Rangers Double Chance is 1.90, Draw No Bet is 2.75. I also really like Rangers over 9.5 shots at 1.80. Celtic have conceded 10+ shots in four of five Premiership matches since Nancy took over: 11, 13, 10, 16, 8. Rangers have had 10+ shots in each of their last seven league matches: 16, 28, 11, 19, 11, 32, 14. And in four of their six Europa League matches: 7, 11, 11, 9, 16, 11. Goals look good as well, so I’ll be taking over 2.5 in my Bet Builder. Over 2.5 has landed in four out of Nancy’s five league matches and in seven of Rohl’s 11 league matches in charge of Rangers. I’m really surprised to see Celtic odds-on to win this game. The appointment of Nancy has been a car crash, which was evident again today in his press conference. The performance against Motherwell looked like a team not only devoid of confidence, but also one that has downed tools, with no fight for their manager. I’ll be sharing a Bet Builder tomorrow.
