The Sabres are going to have to get creative with their cap space this off season. They have about $15 million and have UFA’s in Malenstyn/Tuch and RFA’s in Kesselring/Krebs/Benson. Wonder if they just accept Tuch walking and fill internally with Helenius and a healthy Kulich.

Losing someone who didn’t want to be in Toronto isn’t a loss to the city no matter what way you want to say it. He’s not really proving any of us wrong, he’s proving us right. Spot light was too much. He claimed he left because he was doxxed, he got death threats. Okay? Dach got death threats. Mats Sundin received a personal call to his cell phone and was told if he stepped on the ice his first game that he would be k!lled. Gallagher got his house robbed. Malkin got his house trashed and his rings stolen. None of these players left their teams. It was just an excuse to go somewhere and not live under the microscope. He’s not meant for Toronto & that is okay.

Jose Berrios says he'll leave it to the Blue Jays' front office & coaching staff to determine when he returns to the MLB level, but says "physically, I've been feeling great." Slated to throw 70-75 pitches at AAA Tues after which he could be ready for MLB if the outing goes well.
