#JanaNayagan - The print that got LEAKED is a completed, mastered version with even DI done, for subtitling and all, only a low-resolution print is given. Movies usually do editing first, followed by dubbing, then trimming; after that, BGM and CGI work happen simultaneously. Content will only go reel by reel, and on content mastering, everything is mastered together. Access is only available to the director, editor, and producer during content mastering. Now people are forwarding the piracy version on Telegram, with even a chargeable fee of 50 rupees is what I heard. What new experience can audiences get now? How will they watch the movie with interest, except for the experience of watching it on a big screen ? The movie will have problems even on OTT now, as the agreement has a clause saying it is the producer’s responsibility to restrict piracy. I wish a CBI enquiry to be done with a strong IT team to find the source of the link. Even #Thalaivaa ran decently only as pirated DVDs came in, and audiences didn’t have excitement. In a movie, curiosity and craze are important; audiences watch FDFS as many want to be the 1st to witness the movie. The entire revenue is going to get affected hugely, and people have already started reviewing the movie on social media. I didn’t see anything wrong with what #Ameer has spoken; he has seen a short visual that was widely spread on social media. Even I witnessed it. When #ThalapathyVijay speaks politics for minorities, he should also ensure they are shown in the right way in movies too. It is an honest question by him. Currently, the excitement has dwindled down for the film. I wish #Vijay does one last mass film for audiences and producers without any politics as compensation. Producers should ensure that when they hire studios, they erase their output content properly so such leaks do not happen in the future. - Dhanajayan sir
