It was Munir's leadership, his ability to build trust, and his willingness to seize opportunities that impressed Trump, the Iranians, the Saudis, and perhaps even the Indians, though they would never admit it. His decisiveness has shown itself many times, from the May War to the war on terror to the Taliban regime, and now as a mediator. Yesterday, he flew to Iran in the middle of a war. Events did offer Pakistan an opportunity, but it would be unjust not to credit the Field Marshal's dynamism for bringing Pakistan back onto the world map.

Indeed a Brave Soldier. It takes a lot of courage & bravery to visit & land in Tehran - where every spot is on the Israeli hit list. When Trump says "My Favourite Field Marshal" he deserves it to the favourite of all those who love brave soldier. More likely the entire Iranian airspace is Pak airforce controle.
@KiyyaBaloch We are in the same cycle as Ayub and Zia. Their proximity to the USA had made them internationally acceptable and brought relative prosperity at home. But it afforded them great impunity domestically, which translated into harsh measures especially against smaller nations in Pak.
