Having FPS players who play FPS games making FPS games is key to our ethos at @BULKHEAD.
It's not just about skill level, it's about passion for the genre and understanding what players do and don't want at every level.
We then action that every day in the studio. Gamedev is hard but it's way easier when your team is alligned in the same direction. Hoping that passion shoes through in @WARDOGS

Community and bringing players along on our journey is a huge focus for us on @WARDOGS at @BULKHEAD. Many studios say this, but we’ve been working with feedback from players and content creators from the start, attending events and even pulling out a phone on the fly to show early videos and concepts given the chance, while getting deeper feedback from the original Arma 3 KOTH mod founders throughout development. Community is also part of our company's DNA. We hire game devs who are also FPS focused players so that they completely understand the game we’re trying to make. We even review steam playtime in interviews alongside competency. We recently reacquired the studio back from a major publisher and decided to split ownership across a large portion of the team. We playtest the game every day not just for work but because it's fun, we would play this game ourselves if it had been released by another studio. We also believe players are looking for a game like @WARDOGS. You can see how far the team has come since our first playable in Feb 2022.
