What you are referencing is 'PCA Autosomal closeness' not actual genetic closeness. It happens because the original population's autosomal profile that lived there went extinct, rajasthanis don't as well.
When you add kasabgars from KPK, they will appear even closer than Punjabi groups in PCA closeness to the GGC.
