@I_am_Peacee So that’s a fault on both ends, because every family like that that I know, including the one I’m from, already had a plan for their children and the two parties would have to agreed, to avoid situations like this in the nearest future.

@datMedez Clearly Because if they did, they won't be here today If she knew the children won't be able to go to church with her and she's “serious” about her faith and values, maybe she would not have gone ahead with the union.

@I_am_Peacee In situations like this where they did not plan ahead, the husband has the final say in the household, regardless of the religion of the husband, thank you.

@I_am_Peacee Thank you, and please stop painting it as if it’s Islam doing something wrong here, I know a lot of Christian husbands, Muslim wives who all their children are bearing only Christian names and the children have never stepped in the mosque before.

What is contradictory about the statements? He did not have any issue with the wife going to church but when they gave birth, he insisted she must not take any of their children to church. That's where the problem started.
Medez⚕️@datMedez

@I_am_Peacee ‘He didn’t have any issue with it until they gave birth’ ‘They have 3 kids now, and she still goes to church’ These are two contradictory statements sha, but I blame myself for trying to be reasonable with someone who tried to push religious hate.

@I_am_Peacee This is from a perspective of someone who is from the same kind of family you’re talking about and that’s why I even replied you, he never had a problem with church and Christianity that’s why he married her, they married but they didn’t discuss how they want to raise their kids?

@datMedez According to the woman, she said he never told her the children won't go to church before marriage. In her words “I don't have any issues with Christianity and church".

@I_am_Peacee I know a lot of families that the couples are not of the same religion and most of them always have a plan on how their children will be raised before they start birthing kids, or all through their dating life, they never talked about how they would like to raise their children?

@I_am_Peacee Exactly, at least she saw a lot of qualities in him before she married him, if that’s the only thing they differ in, it’s not a big deal. Or the husband is no more the head of the household?? Or is the woman complaining to you, so much that you brought their marital issues to X?

A Christian—who believes that God was executed on the Cross like a common criminal—wants to talk to us about how the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ died. The replies are full of lies and disinformation After the Battle of Khaybar in the year 7 of the Islamic calendar (628 CE), the Muslims gathered to eat at the site of the battle. A Jewish woman poisoned the meat which she prepared for the Muslims, and some of them ate it. The Prophet ﷺ took a bite out of the meat and spat it out. He said that the meat informed him that it was poisoned, in an authentic Hadith from Sunan Abu Dawud. Meanwhile, that same dish was presented to another companion named Bishr, who died shortly after. Here is the Hadith: A Jewess from the inhabitants of Khaybar poisoned a roasted sheep and presented it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who took its foreleg and ate from it. A group of his companions also ate with him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: “Take your hands away (from the food).” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then sent someone to the Jewess and he called her. He said to her: “Have you poisoned this sheep?” The Jewess replied: “Who has informed you?” He said: “This foreleg which I have in my hand has informed me.” She said: “Yes.” He said: “What did you intend by it?” She said: “I thought if you were a prophet, it would not harm you; if you were not a prophet, we should rid ourselves of him (i.e. the Prophet).” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then forgave her, and did not punish her. But some of his companions who ate it, died. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had himself cupped on his shoulder on account of that which he had eaten from the sheep. (Sunan Abu Dawud 4510. This specific narration is corroborated by 4512 which is Sahih and uses similar wording) Later on, the Jewish woman was actually executed in retaliation for the death of Bishr, the companion. The Prophet was indeed affected by the meat, as it left a mark on the roof of his mouth. But it didn’t kill him. He lived for 4 more years, perfectly healthy, fighting in numerous battles, conquered Mecca, received more revelations of the Quran, and he even had a baby son named Ibrahim. If this was him being “poisoned to death” by a Jewish woman, then it would’ve killed him like it killed his friend Bishr. Also, the Prophet ﷺ took many hits during his life. He was injured, lost a tooth, had a scar on his face due to battle. This was normal, and is a means for Allah to elevate him and honour him even further. Prophets in the past have been killed at the hands of the Jews, and this isn’t new at all. 4 years later, in the year 11 of the Islamic Calendar (632 CE), after the Quran’s revelation was completed, and after the Arabian Peninsula was conquered, he had his final illness and died. He told his wife while he was sick that he was in severe pain due to the effects of the poison he tasted at Khaybar 4 years earlier, and that this time he felt like his aorta (the Arabic word he used is Abhar) was being cut (a common Arabic phrase meant to emphasize severe pain)   These Christians point to Surah 69:46 (an early Mecca Surah) which said that if the Prophet ﷺ invents a lie about Allah, that he would be seized by his right hand and have his throat slit immediately. Clearly, the Prophet ﷺ went on to live and receive more Quranic revelations for 18 years after Surah 69 was revealed, and the Prophet ﷺ died in his home with his wife and he was not “cut by his aorta.” Surah 69:46 uses the word Wateen which is a different word from the word “Abhar” which is what was used in that Hadith when he told Aisha about his pain.” Regardless, these Christians are grasping at straws, claiming something that isn’t true. They want to use Islamic sources without actually understanding it, and they want to talk to us about the Khaybar poison incident as if it isn’t a well-known event in Islamic history.
