Need someone to confirm I'm not crazy. I want to buy one of these horse racing games where you deal out cards, then roll 4x to scratch the first 4 horses then continue rolling until one horse advances past the finish line. What I can't figure out is why many of the boards I look at don't use the true odds of dice rolls to make each number equally probable to finish. For example, the board below has the following number of rolls that would be required for each number to win: 2 = 3 rolls 3 = 6 rolls 4 = 8 rolls 5 = 11 rolls 6 = 14 rolls 7 = 17 rolls 8 = 14 rolls 9 = 11 rolls 10 = 8 rolls 11 = 6 rolls 12 = 3 rolls If you are to take the true odds of dice probabilities you would see there are this many ways to roll that dice combination: 2 = 1 way 3 = 2 ways 4 = 3 ways 5 = 4 ways 6 = 5 ways 7 = 6 ways 8 = 5 ways 9 = 4 ways 10 = 3 ways 11 = 2 ways 12 = 1 way Which is why when you play craps at the casino, the 4s and 10s pay out 2:1, because there are 3 ways to roll a 4 or 10 and 6 ways to roll a 7, true odds. So using the horse racing board combination that shows you need 3 rolls to win on a 2 or a 12 means that every number above should be multiplied by 3 to make every number equal to finishing at the same probability or true odds. 2 = 3 rolls 3 = 6 rolls 4 = 9 rolls 5 = 12 rolls 6 = 15 rolls 7 = 18 rolls 8 = 15 rolls 9 = 12 rolls 10 = 9 rolls 11 = 6 rolls 12 = 3 rolls Therefore, if you are holding a 2, 3, 11 or 12 card in your hand you are getting the true probability at a 3x multiplier but holding a 4 through 10 will give you much higher probability of that horse winning because each one needs 1 less roll to finish than what the true odds should be. In summary, please confirm I am not crazy and also find me a board that has true odds across the board. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I never thought I’d live in a place like Tampa Florida. In my 20s, I lived in the “coastal elite” cities: NYC, SF, LA, etc. But 3 years ago, I chased a girl all the way down to Florida. And I never left. At first, I planned on it being temporary. I was antsy to get back to the “big city” once Kristen finished her residency. But slowly, this place started to grow on me. And I could see myself living here forever. It’s so cheap. It’s summer all year round. But not douchey like Miami. I play tennis every day. I have a 100 lb dog. Life is good here. But… there is one problem: it's lacking a startup community. I know there are a ton of founders and builders here, but it’s a bit disjointed, right? So one of my goals over the next decade is to have a small part in changing that. I’m going to start using my platform to spread the word about Tampa. And cover more local businesses on the YouTube channel. I want to start a community of Tampa-based founders/creators/builders. I think this place could be the next Austin TX, and I wanna be a part of that come up. If you're in Tampa / St. Pete and building something, I'd love to connect. Let's build something dope out here.

At least next year if you are good, you are in. Ohio State lost by less than a TD at #1 and it went to the very final drive. FSU has an argument, but they aren't top 4 imo. The Champ has an argument as well. Next year (finally) the true best team will earn it.
