I predict marches to get Starmer out by August. I've never known so many people angry, scared and frustrated by politicians. Even those normally detached from politics are already willing to take to the streets. What do you think might be the tipping point?

Have to admit I’m baffled by the complacent positivity surrounding Leeds this season. Realistically 4 points off Sheff U, despite beating them. Not much to suggest this season ends up any better than last. Sleepwalking into the playoffs in a very average league.

The problem with both art and PE teaching - at least in the 1980s - is that you weren't taught either. If you didn't have a natural talent in them the teachers just didn't give a fuck about you and had to flounder around hating every minute

@GideonNisbet @anon_opin Of course, but you’re missing my point. I’m not excusing bad teaching. Arguably, natural talent & ability are the defining factors behind success in creative subjects. I was bad at maths, good at art. My art teachers taught me little. Maths teachers tried. Its not all on teaching

@dav1dman @anon_opin Some people have natural talent for maths, woodwork, etc -- art and PE aren't unique that way. Talented or not, we can all get better at stuff if we put in the time *and have good teachers*

@steve_mc87 @anon_opin Not even remotely similar in how you teach those subjects. Especially maths & Eng-lang. Both routed in theory. There’s a clear right and a wrong. Creative ability isn’t teachable in the same way. You can facilitate it, but teaching someone to be creative who just isn’t, is hard.

@LUFCMOTcom Harrison at 10? Very little creativity in midfield. A lad up top who only scored 6 in the championship last season. A child at RB who got skinned by Championship wingers… It’s a pretty shite lineup lads. We’d finish rock bottom regardless of manager here.

Different level, but he seems to score tfor fun for Spain u21s. There’s a natural finisher in there somewhere, just think his head is getting the better of him.

Joseph was 12/1 bookies favourite to finish top championship scorer at the start of the season. I didn't agree then & I certainly don't now. I like him, but he's made a lot of costly misses. I'd be surprised if he get 12 all season. #lufc
