We reached the tipping point during Barack Obama's administration when for the first time ever more working American families paid zero federal income tax than families that paid federal income tax. As much as we all hate taxation, I submit that nevertheless before then our "progressive" tax system made most Americans feel like it was a fair system. But not when 51% lives off of the 49%. And it's taken us almost 20 years to really figure this out and push back on a large scale. I offer all this to explain why the Somali daycare scam has so many taxpayers so irate and why it is a huge news story that will not go away, despite the media's efforts to bury it. ***Stop the tax/give/grift/buy votes carousel and let me off.***
