@thebricksession@lucygoss@TheSpineRace Passed over the route in the nice warm car this morning, -9 degs was showing, respect to every single one of them 💪
Normal routine, wake up and see how @lucygoss is doing. It’s hard to imagine the physical and mental stress all the athletes must be feeling. But I’m sure they’ll all be experiencing finish fever. Brutal conditions last night at the @TheSpineRace with athletes having to pause.
It was great conditions for tackling some more #wainwrights today. Another 5 ticked off, now up to 175/214. Do we start planning which will be the last one 😬 #Cumbria#lakedistrict@WainwrightsOAP
@OSleisure Set a challenge to swim them all* end 2 end, just these two left. Favourite so far Wastwater, I think 😁, was just amazing being in the middle of it. But then Buttermere wasn’t too bad and Derwent Water was bad either.
* they you’re allowed too
News that I have been selected to race for GB at the elite level for the UCI gravel world champs in two weeks luckily coincided with me finally feeling like getting back to threshold training 🙌
Embracing the road bike while the hands still heal!
