Big day for the team today, with a presentation from HRH Princess Anne in recognition of 25 years of our lifesaving drug interaction resource #hivglasgow2024

We will be at #hivglasgow next week, celebrating 25 years of hiv-druginteractions.org. We are hosting a case study symposium on Tuesday at 11:40 and we will have a range of special giveaways at our booth, including some powerbanks, which will be limited to 25 per day.

@FionaMarra Very proud of Fiona’s achievement. A real high for me to end my supervisory career. An outstanding contribution to our understanding of DDIs in Hep C and COVID-19.

So today I did a thing…I finally completed my PhD & passed my viva in U of Liverpool. A long but amazing day & I’m so glad it’s over. I’ve had the most amazing supervisory team of my favourite people Prof @daveback01 and Prof Khoo. I’m so lucky to be part of the best team 🥳🎓

Let's celebrate the success of DR @ShakirAtoyebi in his thesis defence this afternoon. A beautiful body of work exploring the use of #PBPK in complex and understudied populations - pregnancy, fetus and drug-drug interactions. Already in a postdoc role, he will go far! @aeolagunju

💊 New comedication added to the drug interaction checker: Avatrombopag, added to a new comedication class: Antihaemorrhagics. Eltrombopag and Tranexamic acid have been moved to Antihaemorrhagics as well.

🚦Interactions update: Glecaprevir/pibrentasvir coadministered with ethinylestradiol dosed at 20 µg or less is now 🟧Amber, thanks to new data. Interactions with higher doses are still 🔴Red. Read more: hep-druginteractions.org/site_updates/7…
