FAREWELL TO THE GOAT 🐐 Never easy doing these types of posts, particularly when it’s about Aaron Watson aka “The Goat”. Azza joined us 3 seasons ago when, we were hovering above the relegation places at Step 6, leaving a team at the top of Step 5 to help us, which he duly did, both on and off the pitch. The first of a number of ex Whyteleafe FC players to come back to the phoenix club, to help get us back to where the former club finished prior to their demise. Azza contributed 57 goals in 98 competitive appearances including 3 hat-tricks and too many memorable moments to list. The goat now leaves us for pastures new. So, we say; Azza thank you for everything you’ve done, you have been pure class 💚 P.S don’t you and Papa Goat be strangers 🐐

@AFCWhyteleafe Great effort from the team. What memories they’ve made for themselves and all us fans. At Wembley with 3 generations of my family and what a day it was. Memories made for a lifetime! Think the second half and extra time show the need for some young blood moving forward

@dthomas19881 Formation was the issue for me in the FH. 3 CB marking one player. Two CM over run. WM having to drop deep to pick up the oppositions wide men. Under constant pressure in the first half. Looked better in the SH. The boys kept going though and should of had at least 2 pens
