@Matt_Stepp817 Ex-HC who turned program that lost 13 in row & won State at another Great coaches in BOTH situations Some discount great coaching of guys who HAVE talent. NO ONE wins big without talent! Still coached well in scheme, effort, selfless, TEAM, sharp edge, check ego, WE>me, etc

I've had multiple coaches win #UILState tell me their best coaching job wasn't done when they won state...it was taking a team with 2-8 talent and making them 7-4 #txhsfb

Some GREAT coaches don’t win much, relatively. Some GREAT coaches win titles. It CAN be both. 2009 took Grapevine who lost 13 straight to playoffs w 6-1 district record. 6-5 overall 2020 won State 15-0 at Ryan loaded w talent BOTH great, UNIQUE coaching jobs by our staff
