The Gurkhas have fought for the British since 1815 & 19,000 have died.
Including Lachhiman Gurung VC who in Myanmar on 12/13 May 1945 who took on 200 Japanese. Despite having multiple wounds, including a shattered right arm, repelled them leaving 87 dead. He screamed "Come & fight a Gurkha!".
