Child of God. Beneficiary of Christ's atonement. Latter Day Saint. Conservative. Somewhat silly.

@RudeOnion Honestly, the answer is yes. Yes, eat the same thing three or four days a week. It's cheap, and it simplifies your life. There's really not much downside.

No exaggeration but talking to some of these entitled zoomers is like arguing with a 4-year-old. Me: "You can save a lot of money by cooking food at home and packing a lunch." Zoomer: "But groceries are too expensive! And I don't know how to cook! Me: "Look, you can always make a sandwich. It isn't hard." Zoomer: "You want me to eat just sandwiches EVERY DAY?? Like some PLEB??" Me: "I mean, the point is that you make something simple, easy and cheap. It doesn't have to be a literal sandwich. You can make spaghetti and take leftovers to work." Zoomer: "But then I have to buy all the ingredients! And every recipe has a completely different set of ingredients! I'm not going to buy the entire spice isle of Walmart!" Me: "Ffs you buy the basics and use them for multiple recipes, featherbrain 🤦‍♀️" Zoomer: "WHAT ABOUT TUPPERWARE?? TUPPERWARE IS EXPENSIVE TOO!!" Me: *self deletes* fin.

After a few posts from @BradWitbeck today he got my mind going on awesome legendary creatures like Dragons. Which legendary creature do you think is the most likely to be real?

@joyinbecomingp1 I sometimes think about reading the classics, but I just don't seem to connect with them very well...

If you want to 🤷🏻‍♀️ but don’t feel pressured to do so. There are millions of good books out there. Some are good and some are so dull and boring. It depends on your reading tastes so do research on what will appeal to you the most. For beginners though … these are best … they aren’t long and are easy to read. Little Women Pride and Prejudice Anne of Green Gables The Secret Garden Frankenstein The Great Gatsby

Knowing how to prepare a meal for yourself from raw ingredients is one of the most necessary and basic skills a person must learn. I can't believe people are throwing tantrums over being expected to do it.

@davemart30 What Gemini presented was a summary of cognitive science as presented by the authors in question. Said summary left my current theory unmodified. I don’t believe Smith could have made it up on the spot so I would conclude that it was either divine or Smith prepared the stories.

@MrsMagdaBeard If you wanna be super lazy, a large pot pie costs less than $4 and microwaves in less than 10 minutes. Quite tasty too.

You can just throw a piece of meat in the airfryer. I swear some people making cooking this gigantic chore. Make some scrambled eggs. Make a 30 minute sheet pan meal. Boil some pasta. No one is telling you to butcher the fucking cow.

@JackMac A lot actually! I'm not sure if you've ever worked a double before but you certainly do not have time to make home cooked meals. Not everyone can make #content for Barstool all day then cook a leisurely dinner!!

@PearlKevinPrice I suppose I wouldn't know. I may have jumped to a conclusion, I don't mind admitting that. It's just that I don't find "look what an AI said" to be particularly compelling.

@davemart30 Do you think my opinion about Smith’s dictatorship of the BoM came before or after interacting with AI on the matter?

@DChadwickAuthor I'm very confused by this rofl. Curse of... Scruffy? With what appears to be a vampire Muppet clinging to a missionary's shoulder? I would probably pick it up just out of sheer curiosity and a need to understand what on earth is going on here lol.

@BrianNiemeier It's always those three things. Housing, healthcare, higher education. They keep going up and up and up. And those are the three things most often subsidized by the federal government. I wonder if that's more than a coincidence?

@Fat_Electrician This is insanity. A frozen pot pie can be microwaved quicker than a doordash order would arrive, it tastes good, and it costs less than $4.

007 First Light releases May 27. One week out, IO Interactive's cinematics director Martin Emborg told the press that classic Bond behavior would be "tone deaf" in 2026. "He's evolved through the decades, and obviously, we reflect modern values. So it's not going to be your old school Bond, which would just be tone deaf in this day, right? He's a modern guy." On what gets cut: "Some things fall by the wayside and some things are more important than ever." Amazon MGM Studios is publishing the game. Amazon also owns Bond 26 casting and the film IP. The official Bond novels now frame conservative men as villains. Every medium. Same direction. One week to release. Is there a version of "modern Bond" you'd actually want to play?

Everyone is slamming this video but the NYT published an article just last month about young couples who aren’t having kids because they think a 2,400 sq ft house is too small, their overseas travel costs would increase, and they already pay $600 a month for poodle daycare. Sure, stuff costs more these days, but insane living standards and overconsumption is a huge part of the problem for young adults.

@fandompulse I tell you what, a few years ago this would have been exciting. I liked the Skyward series, even though it was a little girl-bossy. But I don't think I could trust it now.

Brandon Sanderson announces yet another TV deal, this time for his YA series, Skyward: "I’ve been working on the Skyward series for nearly a decade, and to have a partner like Tomorrow Studios to help bring this story to television is a dream come true." Is he getting rewarded by Hollywood for selling out his Mormon faith for LGBTQ activism?
