@_the_a_bis Yeah, but we wrote off 2/3 of the season with mindless garbage. Having something to get behind finally might not keep us up, but it's a whole lot better than what we saw October - Feb. I also think we'll win a few keep playing like that.

But also playing well against Leicester twice, Charlton at home, tonight, I could go on. Thats 9 points we really ‘should’ve had’ - drawing when we should win, losing when we should draw. Thats relegation.

@davemiles93 I have a theory for that: we have always generally scrimped and saved on full-backs. If we had a budget of £xM, we would prioritise the spine of the side, and merely make do at full-back. It's been like that since I can remember. Yet, they're such a key role these days

Attack-wise Furlong was good, but defensively he was caught so often, especially 1 v 1. Dare say he also has greater protection from some good players around him - which is always a big consideration when weighing up any individual's merits/deficiencies.

@chrislepkowski I think as a fan base we have a real aversion to full backs. For where we were and what was asked of him, he was fine. Don't know what you've got until it's gone as has been said.

@davemiles93 I thought he was a very average player. Good going forward - a great throw too - but many of his obvious defensive deficiencies were clear to see. He was certainly aided by the likes of Yokuslu and centre-halves covering for him.

@Gingerzola We mismanaged Taylor awfully, damage was done well before this season. He needed blooding into the side 2.5 hears ago under Carlos when Bartley got injured.

One player sale last summer that nobody will convince me was necessary - when you consider the outlay on the collection of shit, disinterested and injury-prone CBs that we signed - is Caleb Taylor. Trust and play your own kids

@wolvesbradders Both appointments really not worth the gamble. We've also got that stink of a team who take a month to score and every mistake we make is punished. Almost feels like we need to go and bottom out somewhere in League One for a bit.
