@Racing_Tales Won that and the Whitbread a few weeks later. I'm sure the last horse to do so.

A proper golden oldy here, remenber when Mr Frisk won the 1990 Grand National in a record time, ridden by Marcus Armytage?

@Wharfemeister I'll still watch it but I agree. Not the same race. I think the last proper-ish National was 2012. After that renewal, which had two horse deaths, they replaced the wood cores of the fences to plastic and it's a lot easier race to negate now for the horses.

@jakecarruthers5 I can’t think of a game where we’ve played well both halves. We’ve had several games where we have looked good for 45 but been bang off it the other half. Defensively we are so poor, and that’s not just on the defence.

Still don’t get some of our fans saying Rochdale have been “found out”, weren’t we against BW? End of the day, both teams deserve to go up and the chances are that won’t happen. 2 superb teams and at the end of the day, whoever wins the league would have earned it #ycfc #rafc

@BenycfcMorrison @tommyf1996 It's bollocks. They lost last night away to Southend. Not exactly an easy fixture, is it. Yourselves played out an early season bore draw there. They drew Scunthorpe (they should have won that) Hartlepool (played in fucking Accrington). Their only proper blip I guess was Yeovil.

@BenycfcMorrison @tommyf1996 When Rochdale drop points the amount of York fans creaming their underwear over it is what we say around here.. a shan. They're still favourites over you. They're still to play you at home ffs.

@BenycfcMorrison @tommyf1996 You're implying a way of playing against them has been unearthed that stifles them. It's more or less the same thing, Ben. They've lost their first game last night in I don't even know how long. And still lie above York in the league on level games played.

Liam Rosenior writing tactical instructions in the 83rd minute, 3-0 down to the players. 8-2 on aggregate, hasn't got a clue what he's doing, it's Graham Potter all over again. New manager bounce done, hard being a Chelsea supporter, can't support this.

@BenycfcMorrison @tommyf1996 Southend are arguably the third best side (possibly second based on last night) that I've seen in this league. And I'm a Carlisle fan. As a neutral, any comment saying that Rochdale have been found out after last night is utter nonsense. It was their first loss in how long?

@tommyf1996 It’s a really simple observation from the games they’ve dropped points in that there is a way to play against them that they struggle with, Hartlepool, Scunthorpe, Southend now all made them look pretty average with it. No one has said they don’t deserve to go up.

At Mexico 86, one of the best ever World Cup games took place. France beat Brazil on penalties in the heat at the QF stage. Here's Careca's wonderful goal that day for Brazil.

@tashkentterror It was always potentially a losable fixture after a long mid-week trek to Aldershot.

@tashkentterror Conversely their league position suggests Tamworth are no mugs either. I can't believe how many Carlisle fans are calling for Hughes' removal when we're still occupying third spot behind Rochdale and York who are both evidently far too good at this level.

A lot of talk about the 4G pitch yesterday as if Tamworth have been thrashing teams at home non-stop because of it. Their home league record this season before yesterday was W7 D5 L6, so eleven of the eighteen previous teams had managed not to lose there.
