Gm☕️ Yes, my GM today is dedicated to @Byopills 👁️🫡 I their own time and relentlessly building during the bear market regardless of noise and sound and doubts by some holders and former holders this amazing team has delivered a mobile game that surpassed all my expectations and of many others. And the best of all is that the game is still in its early phases, meaning a lot is still going to be added to the game: more circuits, additional Byopills (the NFT) features, different challenges and leaderboard and likely more than that and we don’t even have a clue - the team is super creative! The fact is that this team has the means and the capacity to deliver what they envision, and they envision greatness. This mobile game stands by itself. I’m very experienced and I grew up playing video games and have played all sorts, and this one is fun and addictive. The leaderboard competition with prizes in the form of rawTryp (the currency of the Byoverse - I’ll come back to the Byoverse later) adds an additional flavor to the dispute. But not only the top 10 in the fastest lap leaderboard takes the prize, but everyone wins, and it’s simple: the objective of the game is to last the longest with your Byocraft, run faster laps and then “absorb” rawTryp as you do it. In other words, the faster and the longest you ride your craft, the more in-game currency (the rawTryp) you get, from a limited amount to be shared among all racers. First come, first serve! After each race you can either play again or head back to main menu and then to “Jokka’s Repair Shop” (homage to Jokka a famous BYOpills holder and member of the OG community 🙌), where you have the option to upgrade your craft using the rawTryp you earned during the game. The more you spend, the better your craft, the faster and longer you can ride, the more currency you make. Well, voilà, the game has created a circulating economy, one of the most important things to do in a game with currency! There is also the option to not spend rawTryp and just accumulate it. In the future, one will be able to convert rawTryp into $TRYP, the ERC-20 currency that will have voting rights in the game’s DAO, the way the Team will eventually spin off control of the game in perhaps a 7 years time frame. How will this be done? Well then we head to the Byoverse. As I mentioned, this is a mobile game, but not the endgame of this team. The endgame is to create a gaming metaverse where players will try to survive and thrive. Inside the Byoverse one of the constructions that gamers will be able to build will be a refinery, where one will be able to convert rawTryp into $TRYP. And so, I imagine a refinery will cost a lot of money, will cost a lot of rawTryp to build. So, you see, this game will have huge economics. From farming to fighting, all sorts of paths to choose from in order to thrive in a super complex economy. This won’t be a trivial game like the ones we’ve seen in web3, but an extremely complex game to dwell in - people will spend weeks and months building in it. If I recollect it right, about two years or more ago one of the team members said they wanted to build a MMOP game that would be a mix of WoW, StarCraft and I think “Halo” or whichever third game it was. Someone will come and help me here and add it to this thread, but you got the idea 😁! This will be MASSIVE, AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - to all gamers worldwide. NFT holders will have an advantage in the start, will have their lands to explore or lease or sell ingredients from, but this game is for the masses, not for only for holders. Digital assets will be OWNED by the people and not taken away as in other games when a new version is launched! A first season in a mobile game is the start of what this team is building. But so much more will come. Patience is key. Majority of the NFT Holders have held their digital assets, less than 1% listed in each sub-collection! Hats off to the entire @BYOPills team, thank you for building this!
