The Youth Cup Final, should always be played at a clubs ground. I was fortunate to be involved in one many years ago at Arsenals old ground Highbury. It’s something I’ll never forget, walking through the marble entrance and the narrow tunnel. The @FA need to do more. Very sad.

@PaddyKeoghAF Bigger questions need to be asked. Manchester United a commercial powerhouse having to turn to the betting industry. Sadly, no other sector is paying this kind of money unless it’s state owned.

@Radio_Gaz Clubs need to find ways to pay the astronomical player wages. Sadly, not many other sectors can pay this kind of money and football is at breaking point when it comes to money.

I think this is further proof of where football is heading. Only a few sectors can afford to invest into football and betting is one of them. United realise no one else is going to pay. Personally, I have nothing wrong with this. Betfred has sponsored United for years.

Manchester United are in advanced talks over a deal with Betway to sponsor the club’s training kit from next season. The logo for Betway, the British gambling company, is set to be featured across the sportswear that Manchester United use when undertaking sessions at Carrington, featuring in photographs released by the club. Manchester United sources estimate the Betway partnership could be worth in excess of £18m and would then be among the highest of its kind in football, in terms of a single partner. It is anticipated more clubs will look to secure gambling sponsors for training kits, with the voluntary ban on those types of companies being used on matchday attire coming into effect for the 2026-27 season. You’ve got the best two youth teams in England meeting in the FA Youth Cup final. The idea that it’s played in a 6,000 capacity stadium at MCFC is such a shame. 60,000 would watch this game if it was done right.

Very articulate response from JvG. Commentary and people at home puzzled why the TMO didn’t intervene. If Rugby wants to grow, they can’t miss decision like this in one of the biggest games of the season. Also, a European cup semi final on Premier is short sighted.

I say it all the time but I hate this. City’s fans are mostly working class from Manchester, they were at Wembley a few weeks ago, they’re there every year, they go deep into CL every year. There’s only so much anyone can afford. The issue here is FA Cup semi finals at Wembley
