Asked doc about an insurance form that was never sent. Get reply with the completed form attached and said they sent it on the 11th. Copy includes the fax page clearly stating that the transmission failed. 😂

Just a quick update to say I'm about a week post-op. Additional treatment ahead and then hopefully putting this all behind me. Doc says I should eat lots of protein (no issue there) but then puts me on a 5 lb. lifting restriction for another month. 😑

Damn jealous. Pretty sure wife would love this in living room.

February and March both have a Friday the 13th. Do with that what you will.

@_MG_ I love my family but if I was on my own, I'd have a stupid amount of disposable income on top of cheaper grocery bills, cheaper housing/rent, cheaper utilities, cheaper insurance, etc.

Did I miss the memo on “single people are financially at a disadvantage to families”? Is that a real opinion that has become popular? I have seen it multiple times this year. Most recent in the “justify DoorDash spending” topic. But also when the SF Mayor announced free childcare & people saying it’s unfair to others & families already have a financial advantage via economics of scale and such. And a few other topics along this line. Is this a serious opinion?

Colonoscopy screening (due to age) today didn't have the best outcome so now I await biopsy results and preemptively get to schedule a surgery and scans. Not how I saw my day going. Don't want to freak family out if it turns out to be nothing so I'm on here yelling into the void.
