I will be reimbursing every tenant that is out of pocket for repairs or renewals they have had to undertake. I will be conducting a survey of my tenants, so that all issues are uncovered and I am confident each one is living in secure, comfortable homes. (3/3)

I am shocked and sickened by the series of problems that have come to light. I had not been aware of these issues until this week, for which I am furious. I have immediately dismissed the managing agent of my properties. (1/3)

Jas Athwal, Labour right stalwart & MP for Ilford South, owns *18* properties as a landlord. I'll never understand young people on Labour right, who will likely be renting their whole lives, helping these people. You shouldn't be a Labour MP while exploiting people like this.

@AaronBastani That's a bit harsh Aaron. Do we know how he treats his tenants? Do we know how fair his rents are? I wouldn't blame anyone just for being a landlord. (I would Estate agents.) I knew a landlord who did not increase his rent in a decade.
