I think this is pretty damn cool of him, so I'll be donating 100% of the November profits on my 'Brick Woll Goaltending' t-shirt also to @CAMHnews (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health).
RTs appreciated🙏

Who’s stopping this team?

BREAKING: The Knicks are nearing a trade to send Julius Randle & Donte DiVincenzo to Minnesota for Karl-Anthony Towns, per @ShamsCharania

English

@DashHouse Hey, that's not so bad. I go to one game a year and they've never won. 0-6. Every game was a blowout too, except the most recent, which was the wild pitches collapse against the Mets.
English

@Kristodynamics @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson Given you can't produce a response, I'd say the "citation needed" is on you at this point.
English

Isn't it kind of a self report for someone to be like "you need to go to therapy and build communities" and you go "YEAH that's what STAR WARS was supposed to be" like no she's talking about in real life
Dr Strangetweet or How I Learned to Love the RT@lone_rides
Men had Star Wars - women invaded Men had sci-fi - women invaded Men had video games - women invaded Men had D&D - women invaded Men had comics - women invaded Men had Men’s only clubs - women invaded The only thing men have anymore is either solitary or you fuss at us for.
English

@rebeccarightnow @Kristodynamics @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson I don't think that most of them are upset that women like Star Wars so much as they're upset by the perceived loss of what they felt was something they could do with "just the guys". Some of them may well be misogynists but tarring everyone with the same brush is off the mark.
English

@david_a_fulton @Kristodynamics @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson People are okay with this. It’s only weird misogynists who get upset when women like Star Wars who have strong feelings about any of this
English

@rebeccarightnow @Kristodynamics @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson I'm not trying to suggest it would be enforced per se, but I do think that people should be ok with not trying to engage with everything your partner does. Let people have their own things. Constantly being around your partner is smothering for some people.
English

@david_a_fulton @Kristodynamics @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson It’s fine and normal for each person to have their own interests too, but generally it’s not enforced that the other person can never join in.
English

@david_a_fulton @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson Yeah and it sucked ass, which is why we stopped doing thT
English

@DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson Exclusionary behaviour solves nothing, I can agree with that. I see it as an incorrect reaction to a perceived loss of what was once considered a safe space for that individual, which is what the OP was driving at, although not communicated as well as it could've been.
English

@david_a_fulton @JennyENicholson I do agree with you - there are many hobbies my wife and I don't share. But for an entire group who historically have problems dating (Men deep into nerd culture), excluding women seems like shooting yourself in the foot.
English

@majormayabearr @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson I'm talking about like 50 years ago, not 700, but alright. You've missed my point.
English

@david_a_fulton @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson yeah and now we live in a civilized society not driven by the desire to not die at 30 with nothing to your name. she don't need you like how she would have in 1300 lil bro
English

@rebeccarightnow @Kristodynamics @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson My point wasn't that couples do nothing together and have no shared interests. My point was to highlight that most people have activities that they do without their partners, and that that is a normal, healthy thing.
English

@david_a_fulton @Kristodynamics @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson My bf and I enjoy watching B-movies and travelling and going to concerts and comedy shows together.
How do you think you have a life with someone other than sharing things you enjoy with them?
English

@DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson Modern society puts too much emphasis on finding someone who is perfectly compatible, in my opinion. Spending 24/7 with your partner can burn people out. It's about finding balance and I don't blame people for wanting to have activities that they engage in away from partners.
English

@DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson I'm not suggesting that anyone can't, or shouldn't, spend time with their partner, or have mutual interests. What I /am/ saying is that doing so is not necessarily a prerequisite for having a happy, fulfilling relationship. 1/2
English

@Kristodynamics @DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson Citation, eh? Go talk to your grandparents (if still alive) or any older married person. Ask them how many interests they have in common with their spouse. Ask them how many of their hobbies they share with their spouse.
English

@DigitalOxen @JennyENicholson I mean, that's kinda how relationships worked for most of human history. Lol
English

@JennyENicholson They don't want to share hobbies with women so like... What's the expectation for a relationship?
"Can't wait to date a girl who shares no interests of mine and isn't allowed in my groups!"
English

@DairyQueen Not necessary, I don't live anywhere near Orangeville so likely will never visit this location. Do you, as an organization, not mandate that employees at your locations wear hair nets and gloves?
