@tv3_ghana Education policy should balance teacher welfare and workforce expansion, not sacrifice one completely for the other. So the plan is: ‘Thank you for teaching our children, now give back your allowance so we can hire your cousins.

So because rice dropped once, everything is suddenly perfect? People are still struggling with bills, jobs, and daily survival. Let’s be realistic. The economy needs more than motivational speeches.
Quophie@lifegoalson22

@davidagbodza @JoyNewsOnTV Rice is down from 125 to 80 cedis and isn’t going up every 2 weeks. The hope and pride has replaced the despair that was there and you think it’s not tangible economic benefits? Na is it your wonitwaasidi? Some of you ern. Wicked people. Has FSHS stopped?

@Citi973 The internet is not a private diary—once it’s shared, it can quickly become a legal issue. This case reflects a growing pattern of digital misconduct that raises concerns about responsible online behaviour. This is a painful reminder of how digital abuse can destroy privacy.

@tv3_ghana This is exactly the kind of selective outrage that shows up when people are out of power. The system didn’t suddenly change overnight. In Ghana, these issues are often raised loudly in opposition but quietly ignored when in government, so nothing really changes.

@tv3_ghana Politics in Ghana is interesting. Every government looks better after leaving office, especially when people start comparing present hardship with past hardship. The real question is simple: which administration made life easier for the ordinary Ghanaian?

@ghonetv A polished committee alone cannot repaint a cracked political image. The real task for the NPP is rebuilding trust brick by brick and finding their way back into the hearts of undecided Ghanaians.

@JoyNewsOnTV You cannot blame landlords alone when there’s little government support for housing. Ordinary Ghanaians are struggling, construction costs keep rising, and investors are simply trying to protect the value of their properties.

Brother, if we look at this carefully, is it really helpful to speak without constructive input? This isn’t new—these things keep happening in our hospitals. Charlie's death just exposed what people keep pretending not to see. Blame should not be quickly assigned to the min.

@ghonetv Are we factoring in global crises before assigning blame? Fair analysis requires context—global trends shaped Ghana’s economy too. Leaders faced tough conditions—pandemics, war, and economic strain. We’ve learned lessons. Better policies can stabilize the future.

1/ Bank of Ghana recapitalisation is not the problem the real issue is how Ghana got here. A reported GHS 93B negative equity reflects years of high deficits, debt restructuring, and crisis-era interventions.   2/ From 2020–2022, deficits exceeded 10% of GDP. That level of spending pressure weakens any central bank. Recapitalisation is standard globally but discipline must follow.   3/ Current reforms are already shifting the fundamentals: inflation easing, a ~$3.7B trade surplus in early 2026, and improving fiscal balances. Stability is being rebuilt step by step.   4/ Asset management and balance sheet restructuring are not “politics” they are tools. What matters is transparency, IMF-aligned rules, and protecting central bank independence.   5/ The path forward is clear: disciplined budgets, strong exports, and credible institutions. That is how confidence returns and how Ghana protects the cedi and households long-term.

@ghonetv This is not the time for selective criticism. The NPP record was not better, and global events like the Middle East crisis are affecting everyone. He should prioritize his constituents and stop the propaganda.

If our electricity infrastructure were a business, it would have filed for bankruptcy years ago; it is high time we invested in a real upgrade.
CITI FM 97.3@Citi973

Economic Policy Analyst @senyohosi says Ghana’s recurring power challenges are largely due to inadequate financial investment across the electricity value chain. Speaking on The Big Issue on Channel One TV, he stressed the need for sustained investment, particularly in distribution, noting that infrastructure has not kept pace with rising demand.
