I’m appalled by the attack at a synagogue in Crumpsall. The fact that this has taken place on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, makes it all the more horrific. My thoughts are with the loved ones of all those affected, and my thanks go to the emergency services and all the first responders.

@BuckCllr I’m not comparing the nature of the events, I’m pointing out that using raw arrest numbers without factoring in crowd size is misleading. A million-strong carnival and a few thousand at a rally aren’t the same scale, so if you want to talk stats, you need context.

@Ronin_Revel @Andy_sMyName Yes, just like many others, they had no chance of a fair trial and was advised to plead guilty to get a lower sentence. Nobody in their right mind can say the judicial system and sentencing was impartial, clear government interference

@Andy_sMyName Just because someone pleads guilty to something doesn't mean they did it. It's usually for a lenient sentencing. Probably his lawyer's advice.
