@GalaxyBurn40k Isn't the whole point that the setting contains multitudes, so you can choose your degree of grimdark? You have the popcorn flick bolter porn and hobbits with sausages at one end, and people like Fehervari writing unremittingly bleak stories at the other.

People who act like 40k is all dark and serious aren't just showing that they don't know 40k, they're showing that they don't know art in general. 40k is tame compared to Berserk, the French New Extremity, nearly all modern horror books. It's often PG-13 at most.

I really don't hate real analysis as a class. I just think it's awkwardly used in the econ curriculum. I think it's like a "setup" class teaching a bunch of stuff which is by itself kind of pointless, but a good "stepping stone", useful for cool more advanced stuff
