@FifeCouncil the white road lines need reconfigured at School Lane, Leven after recent cycle paths works. Cars are near head on collision due to width of new path. Just had a near miss and this needs risk assessed ASAP!

@FifeCouncil Thank you... this really needs the full attention as a priority. This should have been done as part of the layout plan.. especially with parking still allowed on lane opposite to the bike lane. There is no room for northbound cars.

This new SNP MP Lara Bird has shown utter contempt for Parliament, our democratic institutions, and the oath she just took. She couldn’t even pretend to take it seriously. First, she prefaced the official oath with her own nationalist disclaimer: “I take this oath only so that I can serve the people of Arbroath and Broughty Ferry. My first allegiance is and always will be the sovereign people of Scotland.” Then, while reciting the actual words “I do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Majesty King Charles, his heirs and successors, according to the law, so help me God” she visibly crossed her fingers like a sulky schoolgirl. The sheer disdain is palpable. She can barely contain her contempt at having to participate in the British democratic system at all. Yet here she is, happily taking the seat, the £90k+ salary, the expenses, and the platform that Westminster provides all while sneering at it. SNP MPs love to rail against “Westminster” but never quite enough to refuse the perks. Real principle would be refusing the oath entirely like Sinn Féin and not taking the seat. If you hold Parliament and the constitutional oath in such open contempt, don’t take part. Your constituents deserve better than performative playground antics from someone who clearly doesn’t respect the institution they’re paid to serve in. Embarrassing.
