Ridiculous question. No ship could survive being hit in the sraits of Hormuz. 10 miles wide and the navigable/deep enough water for tankers or huge ships is only 3km wide . Drones,missiles,artillery, sea drones, speed boats, mines even suicide bombers on jet skis.

I can’t see how we can send the Navy to the Gulf. The US and Israel have no plan and they are deeply unreliable partners. We should be focused deescalating and if we lose ships and lives that does the opposite. Israel wants us all in and Trump wants out… how do you work with that?
