@BigFknChuss @FearedBuck Sneako’s premise was that the use of a word has no meaning unless we give meaning to it. If the counter is that a word has meaning in a separate context then the argument fails. Also, it’s not about the response of the use of the hard are it’s the intent of the one of inflicting.

Sneako did a terrible job arguing his case. Cursing a word meaning God vs saying a slur isn’t comparable. Having faith in a higher power and being told to curse the name? Thats the argument….? A slur that affects you so much to cause hate and violence is sad. That word has power over you. That word makes you it’s bitch. If you let words affect you in that way, then you are a slave to it. I find it pretty ironic considering the origin. Furthermore, you can curse Jesus Christ in my presence, I wouldn’t begin to get violent. I might scold you, but never violent. But if a white person even raps lyrics to a song and accidentally lets it slip, it’s a whole fucking issue. That’s my opinion. Feel free to disagree, and comment back at me with yours.
