@erichoke I agree. In my case it was presented right as I was being let go, I was emotional and not in a great head space. “Either sign this or you don’t get your very generous severance we’ve offered you even though we don’t have to.” Really felt very cold and love-less.

Working with pastors in transition, I have heard the wildest stories imaginable regarding church staff. But one thing that I find particularly insidious is when an NDA is involved. I don’t see how they have any place in a church, where Christians are called to be a people of the light.
