April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a time to stand with survivors, raise awareness, and commit to ending sexual violence in our communities.
We have a responsibility to believe survivors, to support them, and to work toward a future where everyone feels safe. However, meaningful change takes all of us.
If you or someone you know is experiencing sexual violence, please contact emergency help. You can also contact @MkeCoDHHS as part of our No Wrong Door model of care, where DHHS staff can help point you in the right direction to get the help you need.
Let’s keep working together to support our community and create a safer, stronger, and healthier Milwaukee County for all.
