Nigeria hospitals and faulty BP machine. You check patient BP with monitor and you get 110/70 you decide to recheck immediately and you are getting 190/120. Nurse go still collect blame for this. SMH When you experience this, please just check manually

OAU is taking midwives UI is taking midwives ABUAD is taking midwives. ABUAD and OAU are part time, UI is ODL. Eleyele, UCH, Bayelsa SON and SON Asubiaro Osogbo are schools that still run post basic nursing programmes. I think Bayelsa and Eleyele still sell forms.

@Jerubbesheth_ Not anymore. As a midwife, it either you go via the HND for 3yrs or take jamb and start all over in the university.

NMCN said that after three years in basic midwifery, we should go back to the CONS for another three years to get an HND in nursing. No more post basic/ODL program for midwives. A body for both nurses and midwives is doing nothing to favour the midwifery.
