#ProjectHailMary is a special film. It’s the perfect combination of Cast Away, The Martian and Arrival. The filmmaking on display is immaculate. The film is carried by a terrific performance by Ryan Gosling. This movie is funny, serious, heartfelt and emotional.

#RemindersofHim is a giant mixed bag. It was a great to see Monroe in a role that she has never done before and she delivers. Some emotional moments do work. But, the film has a hard time balancing a corny and cheesy romcom with an overly serious and depressing subject matters.
