My guess is the Patriots try to slide down from 31 (add a future pick to recoup lost ones from AJB) and target someone like Young

The #Patriots hosted Missouri DE Zion Young for a 30 visit, per @AryePulliNFL. The 6’6 262-pound edge with 33” arms is a strong run defender and can convert speed to power as a rusher. Young met with New England at the Combine and is said to have lots of fans in the building.

@andrewadesilva That’s possible, I don’t like to think of trading Onwenu tho. But I think it’s better to plan ahead instead of Moses getting hurt mid year or retiring after then you’re kind of in tough spot. But it’s also better not to force anything

@davidgandersen The only way i could see it happen is if they traded Onwenu.
Then you could have the RT kick inside to RG as a rookie, then move outside next season.
They haven't extended him yet, so who knows.

I have seen a lot of draft a TE in the 4th.. if the Patriots wait till 125, you're drafting Marlin Klein.
Oscar Delp, Max Klare and Sam Roush will be long gone imo. They go 50-75
If Edge is the RD1 pick.. the Patriots will need to decide between tier 1 TE or tier 2 WR

Romeo Doubs may not be a true WR1, but people talk about the guy like he’s a scrub
Through 4 career playoff games, Doubs has averaged over 90 yards/game and an 80% success rate
Three-level threat and the the kinda top-tier WR2 the #Patriots lack at the position

The Giants are “actively exploring” trades for DE Kayvon Thibodeaux, per @Connor_J_Hughes. Those around the NFL have a hard time seeing him go for more than a fourth-round pick. Thibodeaux could be a potential option for the #Patriots, who are firmly in the edge market.
