This might be a hot take but I personally don’t think analog is as superior as it used to be. I think there’s a gate keeping mentality producers have around it because they spent thousands of dollars on something a free vst can accomplish in half the time

srsly, try using multiple subbasses. high pass ur kick, layer it w/ a sub that has a fast decay in key off ur root note, then bus it n sidechain ur other sub. everything sounds cleaner than using only a sub + kick having the sub chain
