Thought the referee was excellent today allowing the game to flow & not making it all about himself, great to see Oh, & a final thought, this game would NEVER have been as good as it was if #VAR was involved, it would have drained the life & soul out of it, & that’s why you don’t see games like this in the Prem MOM Coburn, boys on 🔥 I’m still trying to work out how Patterson made that save 🫤

I don't know if everyone will agree but watching that game today i thought Michael Salisbury was outstanding 👏 refs rightly get a lot of stick at times but I found it very refreshing seeing a ref give free kicks for simulation and leaving the game to be about the 2 teams.

@davidharrywebb Same narrative when we got promoted. Fair play, you're benefitting from a generally weaker standard this season, but calling us the golden boys when we were playing in League One three years ago is a bit rich.

@MillwallTT Exactly. He let it flow. I'll take that any day of the week over giving a decision for players falling over the second they get the ball. Not many times you'll get Millwall fans agreeing with praising a ref. Even rarer for the opposition to agree at the same time 👍

@mervpayne @Jim_merrick14 They are games where we would have lost 3 or 4 nil over the years mate even when we've been relatively competitive. This team is a whole different beast. We've got the quality that makes the difference in getting points.
